My name is Aaron L. Hern. You might say I’m a transient of sorts—moving from DAW to DAW, mic to mixing, mixing to mastering. There’s no limit on my output. I can work in the box and think outside of it. To me, all that lies between 20 and 20k Hz is infinite sonic possibility.
A professional and educator with broad experience, I am confident in my ability to produce aural excellence. I am a former Avid Certified Pro Tools instructor, have used Logic professionally, tinker with Studio One Pro and I am still enamored with Reaper. Sound like a bunch of noise? No problem. I have cleaned the most hideous of plosives and crackles with RX and EQ’s. Whether it’s recording VO for an ad, editing dialogue for a film, creating amazing sound design, or amusing my musical muse, I find joy in the process of creating world-class audio.
